Description

We are seeking a skilled Building Management System (BMS) Technician in Kuwait who will be responsible for testing & commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Review BMS design and validate product selection.
• Perform loop checking, wiring, and termination.
• Carry out programming, testing, and commissioning of BMS systems.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain BMS platforms covering HVAC, lighting, fire alarm integration, and other building services.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions on BMS equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve system faults, alarms, and performance issues.
• Support system upgrades, modifications, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with MEP teams, contractors, and facility managers to optimize building performance.
• Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and incident reports.


Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• Hands-on experience with BMS platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Trane, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and fire alarm integration.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• [Preferred] Certifications such as Niagara, Honeywell Trend, or equivalent.
