Textile Expertise: Understanding how different weights of cotton and wool behave during cutting and sewing to prevent fraying or distortion.
Mathematical Precision: Ability to perform quick calculations, such as dividing shoulder measurements and adding precise allowances for a straight, rectangular silhouette.
Tool Proficiency: Skill in using traditional tailoring tools like L-squares, French curves, and tailor's chalk, as well as industrial cutting equipment.
