Job vacancy: General Supervisor (preferably electricsl background)

Qualifications:
• Minimum Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Electro-Mechanical.
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP, Facilities, or a related field, with demonstrated career progression.
• Strong theoretical and practical understanding of plant systems within the trade.
• Proven experience in maintaining large or complex facilities and supervising specialist service providers.
• Ability to read plant layouts, drawings, and schematics; diagnose faults; and implement effective solutions and complex repairs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and computer skills, with the ability to conduct risk assessments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify issues and required maintenance.
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work based on workload forecasts.
• Supervise, train, and manage technical staff.
• Oversee all repair works and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Follow up on all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure safety of site and personnel.
• Develop strategies to meet workload demands efficiently.
• Provide vendor support.
Skill Requirements:
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
• Familiarity with fire evacuation and escalation procedures.
• Strong understanding of maintenance activities and schematic layouts.
• Good communication and technical skills.
• Ability to train technicians and take responsibility for their performance.
• Capability to evaluate and certify technicians after their probation period and report to the Facility Manager/Engineer.
