Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

Job Responsibilities:
 Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and guidelines on-site.
 Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
 Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
 Provide HSE induction and ongoing HSE training to employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
 Develop and implement emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure all personnel are aware of their roles during emergencies.
 Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, training, and safety meetings.
 Participate actively in HSE meetings, providing status reports, data analysis, and suggestions for continuous improvement.
 Participate in and contribute to HSE meetings, providing insights and updates on safety performance.
 Monitor and ensure adherence to environmental management practices, including waste disposal and pollution control.
 Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills to effectively deliver training and liaise with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree relevant discipline (Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within telecom, oil & gas sectors/ K-Companies.
- Mandatory certifications (e.g., NEBOSH-IGC, IOSH)
- Solid understanding of local Kuwait HSE standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Candidate must possess a valid driving license.
