Dear Friends
We are seeking a dedicated and highly talented Commis I specializing in the Hot Section, with proven experience in continental cuisine. The role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting exceptional dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
Key Responsibility :
* Prepare and cook continental hot dishes according to standard recipes and specifications.
* Assist the Chef de Partie / Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
* Ensure proper mise en place is completed before service.
* Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
* Monitor food quality and freshness at all times.
* Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hot section.
* Assist in stock control, minimizing waste, and proper storage of ingredients.
* Support in receiving and checking kitchen supplies.
* Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Requirements :
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in continental cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of hot kitchen operations
- Familiarity with international food safety standards (HACCP).
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
