Job Description – Pipe Fitter (Oil & Gas Sector)

Overview:

The Pipe Fitter will install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems used in oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Assembly: Install and align pipes, fittings, valves, supports; flange fitting, gasket placement, bolt tightening with torque; pipe cutting, threading, bending

• Maintenance & Repair: Inspect piping systems, tighten bolts/nuts, replace damaged components

• Reading Drawings: Interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings

• Safety & Compliance: Follow PTW system, HSE standards, proper PPE usage

• Tools & Equipment: Use grinders, threading machines, torque wrenches

Requirements:

• 3–5 years oil & gas experience

• Knowledge of industrial piping materials

• Ability to read engineering drawings

Preferred:

• Experience with KOC projects
