Description

An exciting opportunity is now available within our Supply Chain – Warehouse Department for the position of Assistant Storekeeper. The role is mainly responsible for inventory storage, stock control, and distribution operations across Kout Food Group brands while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor inventory levels across multiple food brands/franchises.
Conduct daily stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Monitor slow-moving, excess, and expired stock and take corrective actions.
Coordinate with buyers and QC departments regarding short-landed or damaged materials.
Support procurement and restaurant teams with timely stock replenishment.
Supervise the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods in line with company standards.
Ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with FIFO & FEFO practices.
Maintain accurate inventory records and timely ERP/system updates.
Prepare inventory, consumption, and spoilage reports for management review.
Supervise, train, and guide warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and audit requirements.

Requirements:
Previous experience in warehouse/storekeeping operations, preferably in FMCG or food industry.
Knowledge of inventory control, FIFO & FEFO practices.
Familiarity with ERP systems and stock management processes.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
