QA/QC Supervisor – Fabrication & Welding
We are looking for a QA/QC Supervisor for our upcoming Structural Fabrication Project.
The requirement is for 1 Month – Full Time.
Requirements:
Valid QA/QC Certification is mandatory.
Experience in structural fabrication and welding inspection works.
Good knowledge in fabrication quality control procedures and welding standards.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and maintenance of QA/QC documentation including:
Inspection Notifications (IN)
Fit-Up Reports
Visual Inspection Reports
Welding Documentation and related records
Coordinate effectively with Client representatives and Workshop Supervisors to ensure smooth fabrication activities without communication gaps or work stoppages.
Preparation of WPS, PQR, and conducting WQT.
Conduct stage-wise inspections during fabrication and welding activities.
Inspection Activities:
Pre-Welding Inspection
Joint fit-up inspection
Root gap verification
Bevel angle checking
Pre-heat monitoring
In-Process Inspection
Monitoring welding parameters such as:
Amperage
Voltage
Travel speed
Ensuring compliance with approved WPS
Post-Welding Inspection
100% visual inspection of completed welds
Identification and classification of discontinuities and defects as per acceptance criteria (ISO 5817 / AWS Standards)
