Description

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Coordinator role based in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area. The Coordinator will handle day-to-day freight forwarding activities, including preparing and processing shipping documents, coordinating export shipments, and arranging freight transportation with carriers and agents. The role involves tracking and monitoring cargo movements, resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements. The Coordinator will communicate regularly with customers to provide shipment updates, respond to inquiries, and manage service expectations. The position also requires close collaboration with internal teams to optimize schedules, costs, and service quality.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge and practical experience in Freight Forwarding and Forwarding operations.
Hands-on experience with Export processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Customer Service skills, including professional communication, responsiveness, and issue resolution.
Understanding of Freight Transportation, including carrier coordination, routing, and scheduling.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipment data, records, and documentation.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work under time pressure, and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Proficiency with standard office software and logistics systems or transport management tools.
Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain; diploma or degree in logistics, business, or related field is an advantage.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are a plus.
