Description

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services required for the company’s Food and beverage operations. The role focuses on obtaining the best quality products at competitive prices while maintaining adequate inventory levels and building strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchases with department heads.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and documentation.
Verify that all purchased items meet company specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with receiving and stores to ensure correct delivery and documentation.
Resolve supplier issues related to quality, shortages, delays, or discrepancies.
Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval procedures.
Must have previous experience in F&B purchasing
