Description

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Accountant to manage the financial operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the Food & Beverage industry, with strong knowledge of restaurant accounting, inventory control, costing, and storekeeping procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
Monitor food and beverage costs, analyze variances, and recommend cost-control measures.
Reconcile daily sales with POS reports and cash collections.
Oversee inventory control and conduct regular stock reconciliations.
Supervise storekeeping operations, ensuring accurate receiving, issuing, and stock records.
Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and goods received notes.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.
Support internal and external audits.
