Wajda Group is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management and planning, budgeting, and ERP systems. Candidates with experience in the Telecom, Contracting, or Trading & Sales industries are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement).
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts and cash flow plans.
• Monitor cash inflows and outflows to ensure adequate liquidity for business operations.
• Support working capital management, payment planning, and fund utilization.
• Coordinate with management on cash flow forecasting, financial planning, and payment prioritization.
• Prepare Budget vs. Actual variance analysis and management reports.
• Monitor receivable aging and coordinate collection follow-ups.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Assist in payroll accounting and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Record and manage financial transactions using ERP systems (Odoo experience is preferred).
• Assist in annual budgeting, financial planning, and other finance-related assignments.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in Telecom, Contracting, Engineering, or Trading & Sales industries is preferred.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA – Part Qualified or Qualified) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in Cash Flow Management, Cash Flow Planning, Budgeting, and Financial Forecasting is mandatory.
• Experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of IFRS and VAT regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
