Job Summary



We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our delivery and logistics company in Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent Microsoft Excel skills, and hands-on experience with accounting operations in Kuwait. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing reconciliations, and supporting the finance department in daily operations.



Key Responsibilities



* Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.

* Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and monthly financial reports.

* Perform bank, customer, supplier, and cash reconciliations.

* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

* Process invoices, payments, and collections.

* Monitor daily cash flow and prepare cash reports.

* Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

* Prepare VAT-related schedules and ensure compliance with Kuwait tax regulations, where applicable.

* Prepare payroll-related accounting entries and reconcile payroll accounts.

* Analyze financial data and prepare management reports using Microsoft Excel.

* Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

* Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

* Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

* Assist in inventory reconciliation and cost analysis for delivery operations.



Requirements



* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in Kuwait, preferably in a delivery, logistics, trading, or FMCG company.

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including:

* Pivot Tables

* VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

* SUMIFS and IF functions

* Data analysis and reporting
