Hiring: Senior Network Security Operations Engineer (Outsourced to Leading Financial Institution) – Kuwait

Join a High-Profile Financial Sector Cybersecurity Team
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Operations Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will be deployed as an outsourced engineer to one of Kuwait's leading financial institutions, supporting the day-to-day operations and management of enterprise security infrastructure in a mission-critical environment.

Experience Required
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network security operations.
• Experience working in the banking or financial sector is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage, administer, and optimize Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
• Configure and maintain Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
• Manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Administer Secure Web Gateway / Web Proxy Security platforms.
• Manage Email Security Gateway solutions, including anti-spam, anti-phishing, and malware protection.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions.
• Administer Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) platforms.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation activities.
• Perform firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with financial sector security policies and best practices.
• Work closely with SOC, infrastructure, and application teams to maintain a strong security posture.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and operational procedures.
Required Technical Skills
Candidates should possess strong hands-on experience with most of the following technologies:
• Enterprise Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, or Check Point)
• Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Secure Web Gateway / Web Proxy Security
• Email Security
• Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• VPN and Remote Access Security
• SSL Inspection
• Network Security Monitoring
• Incident Response
• Security Policy Management
• Troubleshooting and Performance Optimization

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as Fortinet NSE/FCP, PCNSE, CCNP Security, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a high-availability, enterprise financial environment.

Eligibility Criteria
• Only candidates currently residing in Kuwait will be considered.
• Must hold a transferable Article 18 residency.
• Must be available to work on-site at the customer's premises in Kuwait.
