Location: Kuwait
Position Summary
The Senior Food Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the production of frozen food products, including samosa, spring rolls, pastries, kibbeh, and other ready-to-cook snacks. The role oversees the entire production process—from dough preparation and filling to product assembly, packaging, freezing, and storage—while leading junior production staff to ensure high standards of quality, food safety, productivity, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
A. Production Planning & Supervision
• Supervise daily production activities according to production schedules.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to junior production staff.
• Monitor production targets and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate workflow between preparation, production, packaging, and cold storage.
• Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and raw materials.
B. Dough Preparation
• Supervise the preparation and mixing of dough according to approved recipes.
• Ensure dough consistency, texture, thickness, and quality.
• Monitor dough resting, rolling, and cutting processes.
• Train junior staff on proper dough preparation techniques.
• Minimize waste during dough production.
C. Filling Preparation
• Supervise the preparation of meat, chicken, vegetable, cheese, seafood, and other fillings.
• Verify ingredient quality before production.
• Ensure recipes are followed accurately and consistently.
• Monitor cooking temperatures, seasoning, and food safety procedures.
• Ensure fillings are cooled properly before assembly.
D. Product Assembly
• Supervise the folding, shaping, and filling of products.
• Ensure each product meets company standards for size, weight, appearance, and sealing.
• Monitor production speed while maintaining product quality.
• Assist in developing improved production methods and new product designs.
E. Packaging & Freezing
• Supervise packaging and labeling operations.
• Ensure packaging is clean, accurate, and properly sealed.
• Verify product labeling, production dates, expiry dates, and batch numbers.
• Monitor blast freezing and cold storage procedures.
• Ensure products are stored at the correct temperatures and handled according to food safety requirements.
F. Quality Control
• Inspect products throughout every production stage.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and weight.
• Remove defective products before packaging.
• Work closely with the Quality Control team to maintain company standards.
• Implement corrective actions when quality issues arise.
G. Food Safety & Hygiene
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and company food safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the production area.
• Ensure staff wear proper uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Monitor sanitation of equipment, workstations, and utensils.
• Conduct hygiene checks before and during production.
H. Team Leadership & Training
• Train and mentor junior production workers.
• Demonstrate proper production techniques and safe food handling.
• Monitor employee performance and productivity.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Assist management with staff evaluations and training plans.
I. Inventory & Materials
• Monitor inventory of raw materials, packaging, and production supplies.
• Report shortages to the Production Manager.
• Ensure efficient use of ingredients to minimize waste.
• Verify that all ingredients meet quality and shelf-life requirements.
J. Equipment & Maintenance
• Ensure production equipment is operated safely and correctly.
• Conduct routine inspections of machines and tools.
• Report equipment faults and coordinate maintenance.
• Assist with commissioning new production equipment when required.
Qualifications
• Diploma or certificate in Food Technology, Food Production, Hospitality, Bakery, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in frozen food, bakery, pastry, or snack production.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising food production teams.
• Knowledge of frozen food manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
Skills
• Strong knowledge of dough preparation and food production techniques.
• Experience with samosa, spring rolls, pastries, kibbeh, or similar products.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to solve production issues quickly and effectively.
• Good communication and training skills.

Employment Type
Full-Time – 10 to 12hrs/day – 30 days paid leave/yr, accommodation and transportation covered by the company
