Required Junior Import, Export & Distribution Executive (Vegetables)
Location: Kuwait (with coordination with India)

Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and entrepreneurial professional to help build our fresh vegetable import and distribution business from the ground up. The successful candidate will initially join as an employee with a competitive entry-level salary plus performance-based commissions. As the business grows and performance is proven, there is a clear opportunity to become a strategic business partner.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to grow into managing an international supply chain and eventually lead a profitable business unit.
Key Responsibilities
Import & Procurement
• Identify and develop relationships with vegetable farms, exporters, and packing houses in India.
• Source competitive prices while maintaining high quality standards.
• Negotiate purchasing terms with suppliers.
• Coordinate purchase orders and shipment schedules.
• Monitor seasonal availability and pricing trends.
Export & Logistics
• Coordinate export documentation from India.
• Arrange shipping bookings with freight forwarders.
• Monitor shipments from farm to Kuwait.
• Coordinate customs clearance and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure products arrive fresh and on schedule.
Distribution & Sales
• Develop relationships with wholesalers, supermarkets, grocery chains, restaurants, hotels, caterers, and distributors.
• Visit customers regularly and secure purchase orders.
• Expand the customer base throughout Kuwait.
• Follow up on collections and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare weekly sales forecasts.
Business Development
• Identify new products and market opportunities.
• Research competitor pricing.
• Recommend improvements in sourcing and logistics.
• Build long-term supplier and customer relationships.
• Assist in creating distribution strategies.
Operations
• Coordinate warehouse receiving and inventory.
• Monitor product quality upon arrival.
• Minimize spoilage and wastage.
• Work closely with delivery and warehouse teams.
• Maintain accurate purchase and sales records.
Reporting
• Submit daily activity reports.
• Prepare weekly procurement reports.
• Prepare monthly sales reports.
• Report profit margins by product.
• Track supplier and customer performance.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in import/export, food trading, agriculture, logistics, or sales (fresh graduates with exceptional drive may also be considered).
• Experience with fresh produce is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driving licence is preferred.

Compensation Structure
Initial Employment Phase
• Fixed monthly salary (entry-level).
• Sales commission based on revenue and gross profit.
• Annual performance bonus based on company results.
• Mobile allowance (if applicable).
• Travel expenses for business trips.

Employment Type
Full-Time – 10 to 12hrs/day – 30 days paid leave/yr, accommodation and transportation covered by the company
Salary
Basic KD150/mo + scaling commission scheme
