Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with strong experience in Oil & Gas / Industrial Construction Projects. The candidate should have solid knowledge of quantity surveying, estimation, cost control, measurement, and commercial activities related to Piping, Pipeline, Tanks, Structural, Civil, and Mechanical Construction Works.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, estimates, and cost calculations.
Prepare accurate measurements based on approved drawings, specifications, and site execution.
Monitor project quantities and maintain quantity tracking sheets.
Prepare interim payment applications, variation claims, and final accounts.
Verify subcontractor measurements, invoices, and payment applications.
Review project drawings and identify changes affecting quantities and costs.
Prepare and evaluate Variation Orders and Change Orders.
Maintain records of executed quantities and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
Assist in preparation of project budgets, cost reports, and forecasts.
Review client BOQs and contract requirements to ensure accurate commercial management.
Support preparation of claims and additional work documentation.
Conduct regular site measurements and verify completed works.
Maintain proper documentation for client and subcontractor billing.
Required Experience
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
Strong experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Industrial Construction Projects.
Experience with:
Piping & Pipeline Works
Storage Tanks
Structural Steel Works
Mechanical Works
Civil Works
Fabrication & Erection
Good understanding of BOQ, BBS, quantity take-off, measurement, valuation, variations, claims, and final accounts.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying/cost-control software.
Kuwait/GCC project experience is preferred.
Experience with KOC, KNPC, or other major Oil & Gas clients will be an added advantage.
Education
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
