Job Vacancy: Purchasing Officer

We are looking for an experienced **Purchasing Officer** with strong knowledge of the **aluminum industry** and the **local market**.

### Key Requirements

* Proven experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in the **aluminum, metal, or construction materials industry**
* Strong knowledge of **local suppliers, market prices, and sourcing channels**
* Experience negotiating with suppliers and obtaining competitive prices and payment terms
* Ability to prepare and process **purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and supplier documentation**
* Good understanding of **inventory and stock requirements**
* Good knowledge of **accounting and ERP software**
* Basic understanding of accounting procedures, supplier accounts, payments, and cost control
* Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
* Ability to compare quotations and select suppliers based on **price, quality, availability, and delivery time**
* Previous experience dealing with **aluminum profiles, sheets, accessories, hardware, or related materials** will be highly preferred

### Responsibilities

* Source aluminum and other required materials from reliable local suppliers
* Request, evaluate, and negotiate supplier quotations
* Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
* Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify new suppliers
* Monitor local market prices and material availability
* Coordinate with accounts, stores, sales, and operations departments
* Verify purchase documents, invoices, and delivery notes
* Maintain accurate purchasing records in the company’s accounting/ERP system
* Ensure materials are purchased at competitive prices and delivered on time
