We are hiring for IT Admin Professional / IT Specialist for our esteemed organization.

The IT Professional will oversee, maintain, and secure our organization's technology infrastructure and software systems in Kuwait and GCC . This role requires managing local IT operations, leading a technical support team, and coordinating with local and global vendors. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership and be ready to transition smoothly into the Kuwait and GCC business landscape.

Key Responsibilities

- Infrastructure Management: Oversee on-premises servers, cloud environments, network architecture, and telephony systems.

- Operations & Support: Manage the daily operations of the local helpdesk and ensure high availability of business-critical systems.

- Security & Compliance: Implement cybersecurity frameworks, manage firewalls, enforce data backup policies, and align with UAE data privacy laws.

- Vendor & Contract Management: Negotiate and manage local and international service level agreements (SLAs) with hardware and software providers.

- Budgeting & Cost Control: Draft annual IT budgets, monitor capital expenditures (CAPEX), and optimize operational expenses (OPEX).

- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and evaluate a multicultural team of system administrators and desktop support engineers.

As an Information Technology Professional you are responsible to monitor the operation of all computer hardware installation and maintenance and your role will include key responsibilities such as-

- Serve as primary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware.
- Maintain licenses for all software and ensure that the proper maintenance contacts cover all systems.
- Maintain a sufficient inventory of computer related supplies.
- Maintain a log of all computer hardware and a log of all services calls on computer hardware.
- Manage the configuration records, programme files and data files on the computer system.
- Monitor the performance of the computer software and maintain a log of performance reports, error and integrity check reports, system malfunctions and solutions.
- Develop and manage an effective and operative framework for improving Service Desk IT support to provide the best available level of services and business continuity in a professional manner.
- Generate periodically reports on customer support issues and evaluate the overall operation to deliver outstanding service.
- Ensure that regular on-going trainings is provided to IT colleagues to provide and enhance the delivered level of customer support.
- Monitor and oversee the Company network overall performance and IT Systems to guarantee a smooth Company IT operation.
- Coordinate with other departments to recognize and solve all their requirements to ensure business and operational continuity.
- Interact with IT vendors, external suppliers, and other contractual partners to ensure procurement and IT services are delivered on time.
- Interact with IT Systems Support and other IT Services Partners to ensure IT Support services are delivered on time appropriately.
- Ensure that technology and systems resources are well maintained to their maximum performance and availability.
- Implement policy and procedures to guarantee data and assets availability, integrity, and security as per the company standards and ensure business continuity.
- Follow-up & comply with Rotana Centralized Service Team for “Change Notifications” implementation.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
- Comply with the company environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences You should have a degree in the information technology field and previous experiences in a similar role along with a proven knowledge on all IT related sectors.

An excellent command of English and the ability to design networks and provide technical leads are essential.
