URGENT HIRING – WORKSHOP AND MAINTAINENCE SUPERVISOR (MECHANICAL BACKGROUND)
Maintenance & Reliability Department | Oil & Gas Industry

Kuwait Drilling Fluids (KDF) is looking for an experienced and technically strong Mechanical Supervisor to join our Maintenance & Reliability Department in Kuwait.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diesel engine maintenance, heavy machinery, modular equipment, maintenance planning, and computerized maintenance/ERP systems, with strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities for diesel engines, heavy machinery, and modular equipment.
* Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
* Diagnose mechanical faults and oversee troubleshooting, repair, overhauling, and maintenance activities.
* Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, spare parts, and inventory through ERP/computerized maintenance systems.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, equipment history, and performance data.
* Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure timely availability of equipment and spare parts.
* Monitor equipment condition and recommend corrective actions and reliability improvements.
* Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and HSE requirements.
* Lead and supervise technicians and maintenance personnel, ensuring effective work allocation and performance.
* Support maintenance planning, reporting, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Perform any other duties related to maintenance and reliability as assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
*Proven experience in a similar Mechanical Supervisor / Maintenance role.
*Strong knowledge of diesel engine maintenance and troubleshooting.
*Hands-on experience with modular equipment and heavy machinery.
*Experience in the Oil & Gas, Oilfield Services, Industrial, or *Heavy Equipment sector is highly preferred.
*Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
*Experience in computerized maintenance planning, inventory control, work orders, and reporting.
*Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
*Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and effectively manage maintenance priorities.
