Description

We are looking for an experienced Lifting Engineer with strong heavy-lifting and crane operations experience to join our project team in Kuwait.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Overall safety management of lifting operations involving mobile and crawler cranes
• Review lifting method statements and lifting calculations
• Verify third-party certificates for cranes and lifting accessories
• Administer lifting work permits and verify operator/signal person certifications
• Prepare JSA for lifting activities and witness high-risk lifting operations
• Coordinate with third-party lifting inspectors and the consultant
• Resolve lifting-related non-conformities
• Conduct lifting safety training and maintain lifting equipment registers
• Investigate lifting-related accidents and near-miss incidents

🔹 Requirements

✅ Minimum 10 years of heavy-lifting management experience
✅ Proven experience with mobile & crawler cranes
✅ Kuwait/GCC project experience preferred
✅ LEEA Appointed Person, NPORS Lifting Supervisor, or GCC-accepted equivalent qualification
✅ Competent in reviewing lifting plans and interpreting crane load charts
✅ Fluent in written and spoken English
✅ Familiar with GCC lifting requirements and consultant submission procedures
✅ Valid passport and eligible for Kuwait work-residence visa
⭐ Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working with Chinese companies.
