LOGISTICS – SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Location: Kuwait
We are looking for an experienced Logistics – Sales & Business Development Mana gerwith strong knowledge of the Kuwait and GCC logistics market, customs clearance procedures, and cross-border transportation. The candidate should be capable of generating new business, acquiring customers, and developing profitable logistics contracts.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate new transportation and logistics business.
• Identify and approach potential customers in Kuwait and GCC.
• Develop business for local transportation, cross-border transportation, container transportation, reefer transportation, freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Arrange customer meetings and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
• Prepare and follow up quotations, RFQs, tenders and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate customs clearance and import/export documentation.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, shipping lines, freight forwarders and transport operations.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve monthly sales and profit targets.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics/transportation sales or business development.
• Strong customer network in Kuwait/GCC preferred.
• Proven ability to bring new customers and generate business.
• Strong knowledge of Kuwait and GCC customs clearance procedures, import/export documentation and border requirements.
• Good knowledge of local and GCC cross-border transportation.
• Experience with trucks, trailers, containers, reefer & Lose Cargo transportation and freight forwarding.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Kuwait driving license preferred.
