Description

A factory supervisor manages daily manufacturing operations, coordinates production teams, and ensures safety and quality standards are met.
Job Purpose
To oversee factory floor activities, maximize productivity, minimize material waste, and ensure production targets are completed safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning: Schedule and assign daily and weekly work tasks to meet shipping deadlines.
Workflow Management: Monitor assembly or production lines to fix bottlenecks and reduce downtime.
Quality Control: Inspect raw materials and finished goods to ensure they match exact specifications.
Safety Enforcement: Ensure all workers wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow factory safety laws.
Team Leadership: Train new workers, evaluate performance, and resolve conflicts on the floor.
Maintenance Coordination: Report machine malfunctions and schedule routine equipment service.
Reporting: Track output numbers, material waste, and labour hours for senior management.
Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team
Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals
Maintaining communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood

Job Requirements
Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on manufacturing or industrial experience, with previous leadership experience.
Education: High school diploma; technical or engineering degrees are an advantage.
Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, basic computer literacy, and the ability to read technical blueprints or schedules.

Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment
IT skills, especially using data analysis software
Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
Ability to create and adhere to production processes
Ability to write reports legibly and accurately
Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering, or any related field
Education: Diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software (like SAP or Excel).
Physical Ability: Capability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
Must be able to speak fluently in ARABIC or ENGLISH.
