*Role Overview*
, a B2B Hotel wholesale, is hiring a Finance Manager with 10+ years of experience. The candidate must have proven experience in B2B travel wholesale, bed banks or hotel distribution. The role owns the full finance function of a high-volume, multi-currency business that buys hotel inventory from suppliers and sells it to travel agents, tour operators and OTAs.

- *Location:* Cairo, Egypt (full-time, on-site)
- *Team:*Accountants, AP/AR and credit control staff
*Key Responsibilities*
*Financial Reporting & Control*
- Lead month-end and year-end close, delivering management accounts within 7 working days.
- Prepare the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements in line with IFRS.
- Report booking-level margin by supplier, client, destination and channel.
- Design and enforce internal controls, approval matrices and finance policies.
*Supplier Payables (Hotels, DMCs, Bed Banks)*
- Manage multi-currency payments to hotel chains, DMCs and third-party suppliers.
- Oversee supplier prepayments, deposits, guarantees and payment terms.
- Reconcile supplier statements against bookings, cancellations and amendments.
- Control virtual card (VCC) payments and resolve rate or invoice disputes.
*Client Receivables & Credit Control*
- Set and review credit limits for travel agents, tour operators and OTAs.
- Manage deposits, bank guarantees and prepaid wallet balances.
- Drive collections, keep DSO within target and minimise bad debt.
- Monitor non-refundable booking exposure and agent credit risk daily.
*Treasury, Cash Flow & FX*
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and manage the gap between collections and supplier payments.
- Manage multi-currency bank accounts, payment gateways and card settlements.
- Monitor FX exposure and recommend hedging or pricing actions to protect margin.
- Maintain strong relationships with banks and payment providers.
*Budgeting & Business Partnering*
- Lead the annual budget and rolling forecasts.
- Analyse markup, supplier performance and client profitability to support commercial decisions.
- Support the contracting and sales teams on pricing, terms and new market entry.
*Compliance, Tax & Audit*
- Ensure compliance with local and GCC tax regulations, including VAT where applicable.
- Coordinate external audits and act as the main point of contact for auditors.
- Support reviews of supplier and client agreements.
*Systems & Team*
- Manage and optimise SAP for accounting, reporting and controls.
- Own the integration between the booking engine/XML platform and SAP.
- Automate reconciliations and reporting so they scale with booking volume.
- Lead, train and develop the finance team.
*Qualifications & Experience*
*Required*
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- At least 5 years in B2B travel wholesale, bed banks, hotel distribution, DMCs or tour operations.
- *Strong hands-on SAP experience (SAP FI/CO or S/4HANA), including reporting, reconciliations and month-end close.*
- Proven experience with supplier and agent reconciliations, VCC payments, credit control and multi-currency accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and GCC tax and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills.
*Preferred*
- Professional certification: CPA, CMA, ACCA or CFA.
- Experience integrating XML/API booking platforms with SAP or other finance systems.
- GCC experience, ideally in Kuwait or Saudi Arabia.
- Experience building or scaling a finance function in a fast-growing company.
- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
