IT Network, System, and Support Administrator.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Network and System Administrator to manage, maintain and optimize our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and performance of networks, servers, operating systems, and business-critical applications while providing technical support to internal users.
Key Responsibility:
• Install, configure, administer, monitor, and maintain Windows/Linux Server environments.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, domain controllers, user accounts, security groups, and access permissions.
• Monitor server health, system performance, storage capacity, services, and event logs, and troubleshoot server-related issues before they impact business operations.
• Administer and maintain the organization's LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network switches, LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPN, firewalls, and Network devices.
• Support and maintain Aruba, or equivalent enterprise network switches and equipment.
• Administer, monitor, configure and maintain FortiGate or equivalent enterprise firewall environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot authorized firewall policies, network objects, NAT, VPN connectivity, and network security rules in accordance with approved change management procedures.
• Maintain firewall and network security configuration documentation and configuration backups.
• Administer Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization environments, including virtual machines and associated resources.
• Support and monitor SAN/NAS storage systems and SAN switches, where applicable.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Administer and monitor Kaspersky Security Center or equivalent enterprise endpoint protection and antivirus solutions.
• Monitor IT systems for security alerts, suspicious activities, and vulnerabilities, and report or escalate incidents in accordance with organizational procedures.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 end-user technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, applications, email, and peripheral equipment.
• Support IT requirements for employee onboarding, transfers, and offboarding, including user accounts, access permissions, workstation setup, and equipment allocation.
• Provide technical support for CCTV systems, IP cameras, recording servers, video management systems, and associated storage infrastructure.
• Support and troubleshoot VoIP/IP telephony systems, including Avaya PBX, IP phones, extensions, and associated network connectivity.
• Perform routine IT infrastructure health checks covering servers, networks, firewalls, backup systems, and other critical IT services.
• Provide technical support for the organization's Health Information System (HIS), Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, and other clinical and business applications.
• Coordinate with IT vendors, internet service providers (ISPs), service providers, and technical support partners, and follow up on technical cases until resolution.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT security, access control, confidentiality, data protection, and IT operational policies.
Required Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Information Technology or related field (equivalent practical experience)
• 3-5 years of experience as Network / System Administrator and IT Support
• Good Knowledge of networks, server, hardware, and software.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Microsoft365 and IT security are an advantage
• Healthcare experience is an advantage.
Preferred Certification:
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Microsoft Certification: Azure Administrator, Windows Server Administrator
• CompTIA Network+
