📋 Role Overview

We are seeking a Head Pastry Chef to launch a premium dessert cloud kitchen. You will design and execute a delivery-first menu (celebration cakes, gathering trays, and mini pastries) capable of competing with Kuwait’s top bakery brands. You will manage high-volume production, ensure exact recipe consistency, and optimize desserts to survive delivery transit perfectly.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

* Menu Development: Create a competitive menu blending classic flavors with modern, Instagram-worthy dessert trends.
* Delivery Optimization: Formulate recipes, frostings, and cake structures specifically to maintain their shape and quality during delivery transit.
* Kitchen Operations: Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows for high-volume, fast-paced production.
* Cost & Quality Control: Manage ingredient sourcing, food costing, inventory, and waste reduction to maximize margins.
* Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a kitchen team, ensuring strict adherence to Kuwait Municipality food safety standards.

🛠️ Profile & Qualifications

* Experience: 5+ years in pastry arts, with 2+ years as a Head/Executive Chef in a commercial bakery chain, central kitchen, or high-volume GCC catering operation.
* Skills: Mastery of cake engineering, mass production scaling, and culinary cost control.
* Traits: Strong leadership, highly organized, and calm under the pressure of peak delivery hours.
