Purchasing Assistant
Authorization Level:
Division: Support Services
Department: Purchase
Reporting to: Purchase Manager.
Colleagues: Finance, HR, Legal & Collection, IT, Customs, Marketing & Design Business Development and Services.
Subordinates: N/A


Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities “TDR”:
• Manage all accounting transactions. Develops a purchasing strategy.
• Research potential vendors.
• Negotiating with foreign sellers as well as suppliers.
• Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
• Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Review quality of purchased products.
• Enter order details into internal databases.
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities “KSA”:
• Minimum Bachelor degree.
• Must have 1+ years’ experience.
• Visa 18 (Transferable) Only
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great organizational and planning skills.
• The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
• The ability to follow client specifications.
• Knowledge of MS Office & Outlook.
• Familiarity with purchasing software and programs.
• Organized and professional demeanor.

Compensations & Benefits “C&B”:
• Salary Range: 250 - 300 KD.
