Description


1- Elevator Mechanic 
Requirements:
-Adjusts, calibrates, fabricates, modifies, maintains, and repairs electrical and electronic circuitry and electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment for all elevator systems
Performs safety tests, including governor and weight tests, in accordance with State of Michigan regulations and National Elevator Code A171 to determine whether all parts of installation/repair conform to the requirement of the applicable

2- Elevator Technician
Conducting scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure that equipment meets specifications.
Maintaining records of inspections.
Assembling elevator cars and connecting car frames.
Troubleshooting malfunctions and replacing damaged equipment.
Overseeing the installation of new elevators.
Performing routine maintenance.
Repairing or replacing parts.
Conducting safety tests.
