Watches Technician Job Description:
? Enter the job cards coming from all the showrooms in the system
? Keep a personal register for the repaired Job cards including the code, history, type of repair…etc
? Check missing stones, cabs, pushers, damaged buckles, straps, bracelets…etc
? Communicate to the clients detailed information about the problems of their watches
Repairs, cleans, and adjusts watches, clocks, and related instruments, using watchmakers tools, measuring instruments, bench machines, and cleaning equipment
? Removes mechanism from case and disassembles parts, such as hands, springs, or wheels, using hand tools
? Test and maintain minute electronic circuits in watches and clocks and accurately adjust their timekeeping
? Reassemble, fit and adjust parts to make sure they work correctly
? Replace watch and clock faces, sealing them & checking them on waterproofing machine
? Assembles mechanism, oils moving parts, and demagnetizes mechanism, using demagnetizing machine
? Tests and replaces batteries and other electronic components
? Repairs watch cases, surface defects of clocks, and watch bands
? Estimates the cost of watch for repair
? Repair or replace broken, damaged, or worn parts on timepieces, using lathes, drill presses, and hand tools.
o Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
o Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
? Clean, rinse, and dry timepiece parts, using solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical watch-cleaning machines.
o Clean equipment, parts, or tools to repair or maintain them in good working order.
? Test and replace batteries and other electronic components.
o Test electrical circuits or components for proper functioning.
o Repair electronic equipment.
? Demagnetize mechanisms, using demagnetizing machines.

Job Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 4 Years of Previous work-related skill, knowledge and experience.
Education: Candidates must have training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree.
Training: Candidates in these occupations usually need one or two years of training involving both on-the-job experience and informal training with experienced workers.
