Job Summary:
Responsible for developing and monitoring the work schedule and ensuring that the workshop operations are conducted with safety and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the full utilization of workshop labor and resources to achieve the planned targets
2. Supervise the workshop staff to ensure that the workshop processes are followed
3. Assist the workshop staff and train them
4. Ensure that the technicians carry out their tasks within the time allotted to them
5. Prepare the estimations for the materials and the manpower
6. Maintain the manpower timings
7. Monitor the loading and offloading of the incoming and outgoing items
8. Responsible for repairing the mechanical machinery
9. Maintain and update the daily performance report and submit it to the planning engineer
10. Ensure that all the workshop staff are following the safety instructions
11. Allocate the overtime to the workers as per the requirements
12. Organize the jobs according to their priorities
13. Make the sample drawings to brief the customer about the products
14. Check the quality of the product before delivering it to the customers
