We are seeking an experienced and innovative R&D Chef to join our leading restaurant company. As an R&D Chef, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving our menu offerings and ensuring they meet the high standards that our brand is known for. You will collaborate closely with our culinary team and management to create exciting, flavorful, and on-trend dishes that delight our customers. Responsibilities :
• Researching, brainstorming, and experimenting with new recipe ideas and concepts
• Conducting market analysis to identify emerging food trends and competitor offerings
• Creating and testing recipes, making adjustments as needed to improve flavor, presentation, and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and menu development, to ensure successful implementation of new recipes
• Managing the R&D kitchen, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety standards
• Conducting cooking demonstrations and training sessions for culinary teams to ensure consistent execution of new recipes
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to food safety, labeling, and nutritional information
Requirements :
• Proven experience as an R&D Chef or in a similar culinary innovation role
• Strong knowledge of global cuisines, culinary techniques, and food trends
• Creativity and ability to develop unique and on-trend recipes
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recipe management software
• In-depth understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
