Job Overview:
The Service Centre Manager will oversee the operations of the service center, ensuring the effective
management of repair and maintenance services for a wide range of electronics and appliances.
The Manager will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, support staff service, providing
guidance and maintaining the efficiency and profitability of the service center.
Key Responsibilities:
 Leadership & Team Management:
o Lead and manage a team of technicians and customer service staff.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to staff.
o Foster a positive and productive work environment.
 Service Operations:
o Oversee day-to-day operations of the service center, ensuring timely and quality repair
services.
o Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance service
efficiency.
o Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and manage procurement to avoid downtime.
 Customer Service:
o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving
customer complaints promptly.
o Maintain strong communication with customers regarding repair status, costs, and
expected completion times.
o Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continually improve service delivery.
 Financial Management:
o Manage the service center's budget, including labor costs, inventory, and overheads.
o Monitor and analyze financial performance, taking corrective actions to meet financial
targets.
o Prepare regular financial and operational reports for senior management.
 Compliance & Safety:
o Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations within the service
center.
o Maintain proper documentation and records for all service activities.
 Technical Expertise:
o Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics and appliance technology.
o Provide technical guidance and support to technicians as needed.
o Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers for technical support and training.
Qualifications:
 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
 Proven experience in managing a service center or repair workshop, preferably in the electronics
and appliance industry.
 Strong leadership and team management skills.
 Excellent customer service and communication skills.
 Solid understanding of repair processes and inventory management.
 Proficiency in using service management software and tools.
 Ability to analyze and manage financial performance.
Key Competencies:
 Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
 Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
 Strong organizational and time management skills.
 Customer-oriented with a focus on quality service delivery.
Preferred Experience:
 Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in managing a service center for a major electronics or appliance
brand.
 Technical certifications related to electronics and appliances.
Requirements:
