Description

Responsible for developing and monitoring the work schedule and ensuring that the workshop operations are conducted with safety and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure the full utilization of workshop labour and resources to achieve the planned targets.
• Supervise the workshop staff to ensure that the workshop processes are followed.
• Assist the workshop staff and train them.
• Ensure that the technicians carry out their tasks within the time allotted to them.
• Prepare the estimations for the materials and the manpower.
• Maintain the manpower timings.
• Monitor the loading and offloading of the incoming and outgoing items.
• Responsible for repairing the mechanical machinery.
• Maintain and update the daily performance report and share it with the operations manager.
• Ensure that all the workshop staff are following the safety instructions.
• Allocate the overtime to the workers as per the requirements.
• Organize the jobs according to their priorities.
• Make the sample drawings to brief the customer about the products.
• Check the quality of the product before delivering it to the customers by using quality checklist.
• Perform process inspection report.
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of the safety procedures.
• Knowledge of production and processing.
• Knowledge of machines, tools, their designs, uses, and repair and maintenance.
Skills:
• Requires exceptional communication and influencing skills.
• Good interpersonal skill, leading and supervising skills.
• Computer skills, including MS Office and other required software.
• Ability to manage time and work to meet the deadlines and team-building skills.
Qualifications:
Mechanical Diploma or Mechanical Engineering | Read and write (English or Arabic) | 3 years’ experience minimum
