Job Opportunity: Cost Controller
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cost Controller to join our team.

As a Food and Beverage Cost Controller, your role will focus on monitoring and controlling costs related to food and beverage operations. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, implementing cost-saving measures, and ensuring efficient resource allocation
Responsibilities for Cost Controller
• Monitor and analyze financial data, including food and beverage costs, inventory levels, and expenses.
• Prepare regular cost reports, variance analysis, and performance indicators to track financial performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts for food and beverage operations.
• Collaborate with management to establish cost control targets and financial objectives.
• Monitor actual costs against budgeted amounts and provide explanations for variances.
• Coordinate with purchasing and receiving teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment.
• Evaluate menu item profitability, food portioning, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
• Monitor and update menu costing, taking into account ingredient costs, portion sizes, and production processes.
• Analyze production processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Provide recommendations on cost-effective equipment and supplies.
• Support financial audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness of cost-related documentation and records.
• Assist in compliance with internal controls, financial regulations, and industry standards.


Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the Cost Controller in F&B field within Kuwait.
• Proficiency in F&B management systems.
• Proven experience in cost control or financial management within the hospitality industry.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
