Description

We are looking for one Electrical Engineer urgently with a minimum 12 years in the Design, Engineering, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Electrical Systems in the Oil & Gas industry for one of our recently awarded EPC Project with Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) Kuwait. The successful candidate shall be responsible for the following:


- ELECTRICAL DESIGN PHILOSOPHY / BASIS OF DESIGN:
· Preparation of Electrical Load List and Classification of Loads (Continuous, Intermittent, Standby)
· Electrical Load Estimation and Maximum Demand Calculation
· Electrical Distribution Philosophy and Selection of Distribution System
- TRANSFORMER AND GENERATOR SIZING:
· Criteria for Sizing Calculation
· Transformer and Generator Sizing Calculation for Given Load Lis
- SINGLE LINE DIAGRAMS AND SHORT CIRCUIT CALCULATIONS:
· Selection of Breakers (MCCB/CB)
· Selection of Busbar Rating
· Sample Calculations
- CABLE SIZING AND SELECTION:
· IEC 60502/ IEC 60364-5-52 Compliance
· Types and Specifications of Cables
· Cable Schedule / Interconnection Schedule
· Cable Tray and Trench Sizing
· Different Types of Cable Routing (Above Ground, Underground)
- CABLE TRAY & ACCESSORIES SPECIFICATION:
· Selection of Materials
· Cable Tray Sizing / Cable Fill Calculations
· Conduit Sizing
· Cable Tray Layout Design
· Trench Sizing for Paved and Unpaved Areas
· Road Crossing
- BILL OF MATERIALS PREPARATION
