Description

An Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing Accounting and financial operations within an organization. This role involves preparing Accounting & financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insights for financial decision-making. Accountants play a critical role in maintaining accurate accounting and financial data, reporting, budgeting, Auditing and managing the overall financial health of a business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping and Accounting
2. Record Financial Transactions
3. Financial Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting
4. Managing Accounting System and Daily operations
5. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management
6. Payroll Management
7. Auditing, Financial Analysis and Advice
8. Compliance and Internal Controls
9. Continuous Improvement

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Experience with accounting software
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Experience:

1. 7 to 10 years of experience in accounting or finance (preferred).
2. Prior experience in a similar role in IT (if applicable).

Work Environment:

1. Office-based or remote (based on the company’s setup).
2. Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods such as financial year-end
