Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with a strong civil engineering background to support project planning, scheduling, quantity surveying, and tender documentation. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Primavera P6 or MS Projects, based on requirements, and experienced in preparing project schedules, BOQs, and tender documents for infrastructure and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, update, and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Projects as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align the schedule with actual progress.
• Prepare and analyze Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and ensure timely material and cost estimation.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including technical and financial bids.
• Monitor project milestones, identify delays, and propose mitigation measures.
• Prepare and present progress reports, dashboards, and planning documentation to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with client-specific planning and documentation formats (e.g., KOC, KNPC, or other authorities).
• Liaise with procurement and execution teams to ensure resource alignment as per the schedule.
• Support cost control, project budgeting, and forecasting efforts.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in project planning and control.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Hands-on experience in quantity surveying and tender documentation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with oil & gas clients (like KOC) is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Previous experience in Gulf-based infrastructure or EPC projects.
• Familiarity with KOC/KNPC tendering and reporting formats.
