Description

Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all quality control operations in the production and delivery of ready-mix concrete.

Conduct routine inspections, testing, and analysis of raw materials, mixes, and final products.

Ensure all concrete batches meet specifications for strength, workability, durability, and other performance metrics.

Supervise and train lab technicians and quality control staff.

Coordinate with production, sales, and site personnel to address any product quality issues.

Maintain records and prepare quality assurance documentation and reports.

Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule.

Investigate product failures and customer complaints, and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Work closely with external consultants, regulatory agencies, and auditors as required.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control within the ready-mix concrete or construction materials industry.

Strong knowledge of concrete technology, mix design, and testing procedures.

Experience with laboratory equipment and quality control software/systems.

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Certifications in concrete testing or quality management (e.g., ACI Certified, ISO 9001) are a plus.

Ability to work in both laboratory and site environments.
