Job Title: Safety Officer
Location: Kuwait
Employment Type: Full-time

A multinational leading organization based in Kuwait is looking for the position of Safety officer.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe practices or conditions. Monitor workplace activities to ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections.
• Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents; prepare reports with findings and recommendations.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs for all new & existing staff.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, including incident logs, permits, audit reports etc.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & maintain proper records.
• Participate in all safety meetings with customer & fulfil project requirements.
• Conduct Monthly Fire Safety Inspections & maintain records conduct office and on-site emergency drills as needed.
• Prepare monthly statistical report and keep accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001, First Aid, CPR, & Basic Firefighting) is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role (Telecom experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, can do attitude and problem-solving skills.
Additional Requirements:
• Willingness to work on-site & remote project locations.
• Physically fit and able to conduct field inspections & making reports.
• Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
• Good knowledge of local HSE regulations.
• Huawei project experience is advantage.
