Job Purpose: The Painting Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and ensuring the quality and compliance of surface preparation and painting/coating processes for steel structures. The candidate will also manage the painting team, coordinate with QA/QC and site teams, and ensure adherence to relevant international standards and project specifications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage all activities related to painting and surface preparation.
• Review project specifications and ensure painting procedures align with client and industry requirements.
• Develop and implement painting procedures and quality control measures. • Ensure all painting works comply with ISO, SSPC, NACE, or other relevant standards.
• Coordinate with procurement for painting materials and consumables.
• Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.) during application to ensure proper coating.
• Conduct inspection and testing (DFT, WFT, adhesion tests) during and after application.
• Manage a team of painters, blasters, and helpers; ensure safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and project management for inspections and approvals.
• Maintain painting logs, reports, and documentation for audits and project records.
• Provide training to the team on new techniques, equipment, and safety practices. Immediate joining required - Transferable Visa (Article 18) Candidates who do not meet the above qualifications and job requirements will not be considered.
