Discipline/ Job Description
Cloud Solutions Architect will translate business requirements into cloud solution architecture that conforms to enterprise architectural standards and roadmaps. This role is pivotal in delivering and maintaining a cloud solution that best suits business requirements. Cloud Solutions Architect analyzes current application and cloud infrastructure technology to determine its ability to support the solution and creates relevant design documentation to be referenced by developers and configuration specialists alike during the build process
Qualification
• University degree in computer engineering, information systems, electronics & communication engineering or relevant experience in related fields
• Professional Certifications (at least one of the following):
a. E.g. – Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Platform Certified Solutions Architect etc.
Minimum Experience Requirement in Years
a. Minimum of 12-15 years’ related experience creating Cloud Solution Architecture
b. Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in SAAS/IAAS/PAAS
solution
c. Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience working with IT in oil and gas domain
2. Business Solutions Specialist (GIS)
a) Developing and supervising development for GIS software applications for Desktop, server and Mobile platforms. This includes implementation plan, scheduling and monitoring and control of contractor- side GIS programmers.
b) Managing software source code maintenance and version control.
c) Participating in user requirements analysis for organizational level of GIS system Implementation. This position should liaison issues and technology related concerns to stakeholders and provide recommendations.
d) Providing GIS System Architectural Design.
e) Capacity Planning for GIS Hardware, Software and licensing.
f) Resources planning, monitoring and reporting.
g) Participating in project planning and providing GIS Application development guidance based on knowledge of International Standards and best practices.
h) Participation in generating software implementation and deployment policies and procedures in line with Company regulations and policies.
i) Participation in technology selection and evaluation.
Qualification
a) University Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ MIS or an equivalent degree.
b) Professional Certifications in IT, Project Management and GIS are preferred.
c) Experience in Oil & Gas is preferred.
d) Excellent verbal & written business communication and documentation skills.
Minimum Experience Requirement in Years
+12 years of experience in Information Technology.
3. Senior Developer
a) Understands business requirements and prepares Requirements specifications documents for new enhancements/Projects.
b) Complete system development assignments of varying complexity and size and be able to control the scope and schedule to ensure successful implementation. Handles the entire System Development life cycle.
c) Develop necessary integration procedures/processes for integrating various Business applications as per user/business requirements.
d) Perform data migration from legacy systems, if required.
e) Perform simple to complex data extractions as per the requirements of Business users.
f) Prepare UAT scripts and the Test Environment for UAT.
g) Develop Training Manuals for seeded/custom functionality.
h) Diagnose and resolve issues raised by business application users.
i) Contact and follow-up with the application support website, for any issues or bugs related to the Application.
j) Produce functional and technical documentation after receiving confirmation for go-live from the concerned User Team. Produce any other documentation as required by KOC.
k) Review and update the current information residing in EA Tool repository.
l) Develop a deployment plan that shall include all the tasks required for populating the EA repository with information about Business, Application, Data and the Technology/Infrastructure layers across the Company''s IT landscape and deployment of governance around using and publishing EA artifacts using EA Tool.
m) Conduct detailed requirements gathering meetings with the stakeholders.
n) Establish standard conventions/names for creating objects/models in EA Tool.
o) Identify key-players/application-owners and create an hierarchical organization chart with roles/person relationship.
p) Establish the relationship of Business Processes, Data, Technology/ Infrastructure layers and the roles/persons responsible for each Application running under the control of the Company''s IT Organization.
q) Develop and deploy objects/models in EA Tool with appropriate relationship between Business Processes, Application, Data and Technology/Infrastructure layers using Event- Driven Process Modelling (EPC) notation.
r) Conduct EA Tool Designer/Architect training for the concerned users.
s) Carries out other related tasks, which are instructed by the Company.
Qualification
University Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/Electronics & Communication Engineering or related Engineering Disciplines.
Minimum Experience Requirement in Years
a) 6+ years of experience in IT of a large enterprise.
b) 3+ years of relevant experience in requirement gathering and analysis.
c) 3+ years of relevant experience in design solutions for business requirements.
d) Strong working knowledge of industry standard Programming languages, development tools and concepts.
e) Highly skilled at system development life cycle standards.
f) Highly skilled at system requirements specifications standards.
g) Good experience in using Enterprise Architecture Modelling Tools
h) Experience in using and administering Enterprise Architecture Tools.
i) Familiarization with the industry standard business process modeling notations like BPMN and EPC etc.
j) Good understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) Lifecycle and concepts
k) Proven technical cum analytical skills, customer-centric approach, presentation and communication skills.
l) Ability to carry out an assignment from conceptualization to implementation.
m) Strong creative and analytical problem- solving skills.
n) Able to understand and handle tasks independently.
o) Team player who works well with technical and non-technical members.
p) Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders.
