Job Overview:
We are looking for a Core Room Supervisor/Technician to oversee and maintain our data center operations in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of power, cooling, and security systems while maintaining high standards of reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the data center’s core room infrastructure, including power supply, UPS, batteries, HVAC, FM200 firefighting systems, fire alarms, access control, MSB panels, and CCTV.

Conduct daily monitoring, reporting, and follow-up on core issues, observations, security access, and maintenance requests.

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all electrical and electronic systems.

Oversee installation projects, manage defective parts, and coordinate new UPS installations.

Conduct regular testing, capacity planning, and disaster recovery exercises.

Continuously monitor temperature, humidity, and other environmental parameters to ensure optimal conditions.

Ensure adherence to industry standards through regular audits and inspections.

Update checklists and implement best practices to reduce downtime, improve safety, and enhance operational efficiency.

Coordinate with contractors and warehouse teams for maintenance and spare parts management.

Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment, and contracts.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.

2-3 years of relevant experience in data center operations or facility maintenance.

Hands-on experience with UPS, batteries, fire alarm systems, FM200, HVAC, access control, and MSB panels.

Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with contractors and internal teams.

Knowledge of data center best practices, safety standards, and preventive maintenance.
