Position: Senior Accountant
Company: Riyan International Foodstuff Co.
Location: Shuwaikh Industrial, Kuwait
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: 250 KD – 300 KD
Benefits: No accommodation, no transportation
🎯 Job Purpose
To manage and control company accounts, inventory costing, cash flow, and financial reports, ensuring proper financial control and accurate reporting.
📌 Main Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
Maintain complete accounting records (AR, AP, GL)
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
Manage customer receivables and supplier payments
Perform bank reconciliation and cash control
Inventory Control
Monitor stock valuation and cost of goods
Reconcile stock with storekeeper
Monitor expiry, wastage, and slow-moving items
Control purchase documentation (PO, GRN, Invoice)
Reporting
Prepare monthly financial reports for management
Monitor company expenses and profitability
Identify financial risks and leakage
Internal Control
Implement proper accounting procedures
Ensure correct documentation (PR, PO, GRN)
Support management in improving financial systems
📌 Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting / Finance
Minimum 5 years experience in trading / foodstuff company
Strong knowledge of inventory accounting
Experience with ERP or accounting software
English required, basic Arabic preferred
