We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Odoo Accountant to manage and oversee the organization’s accounting operations using the Odoo ERP system. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting principles combined with hands-on experience in Odoo modules, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
----------------
Manage full-cycle accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local regulations

Odoo ERP Management
----------------
Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Odoo accounting modules
Maintain and improve financial workflows within Odoo
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT or external Odoo consultants
Ensure accurate data entry and integrity across all financial modules
Generate and customize financial reports from Odoo

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare management reports, KPIs, and financial dashboards
Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management
Support strategic decision-making with accurate financial data

Compliance & Audit
----------------
Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, corporate tax, etc.)
Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time
Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes
Maintain proper documentation and internal controls

Team Leadership
----------------
Supervise and mentor junior accountants and finance staff
Review work for accuracy and ensure deadlines are met
Promote best practices in accounting and system use

Qualifications
----------------
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred

Experience
----------------
5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years using Odoo ERP
Strong experience in ERP-based financial management

Technical Skills
----------------
Advanced knowledge of Odoo Accounting modules
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance
Advanced Excel skills

Soft Skills
----------------
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
