The company values professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement, creating an environment where individuals can develop their skills and contribute to streamlined logistics processes.Role Description This full-time, on-site Accountant role is based in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area. The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, including recording journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate ledgers for logistics operations. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with month-end and year-end closing, and supporting budget tracking and cash flow management. The role also involves preparing financial reports, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinating closely with operations and management teams to provide clear financial insights. The Accountant will help improve financial processes and use accounting software and spreadsheets to ensure timely, accurate reporting.QualificationsProficiency in core accounting functions, including general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes, invoicing, billing, and credit control in a business environment.Ability to use accounting software and spreadsheet tools (such as ERP systems and Excel) for data entry, analysis, and reporting.Strong understanding of financial regulations, basic tax concepts, and standard accounting principles applicable to commercial operations.Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with operations, finance, and management teams.Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are an advantage.Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain industries is beneficial but not mandatory.Ability to work on-site in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area and adhere to local workplace and regulatory requirements.
