Description

Key Responsibilities
Material Handling: Load and unload heavy rolls or stacks of paper into the printing machinery, and prepare ink according to job specifications.
Machine Assistance: Assist primary press operators by stocking feeders, clearing paper jams, and maintaining a continuous production flow.
Quality Control: Visually inspect printed sheets for minor imperfections, smudges, or color inconsistencies during the printing process.
Post-Press & Finishing: Perform manual bindery and finishing duties, which include cutting, folding, binding, and boxing finished goods.
Maintenance & Safety: Keep the work area clean, perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment (e.g., oiling moving parts), and strictly adhere to workplace safety regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and frequently lift/carry heavy materials (typically up to 50 lbs / 23 kg).
Attention to Detail: Good color vision and visual acuity to ensure print consistency and identify defects.
Flexibility: Willingness to work in physically demanding environments and adapt to changing shifts or overtime requirements
