Description

Job Purpose:
Responsible for procuring day-to-day materials, spares, and supplies required by Workshop, Transport, Maintenance, and Office departments from local markets/vendors, while also handling related transportation duties.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Purchase workshop consumables, spare parts, tools, and materials as per approved purchase requisitions.
2.Buy transport department items (vehicle spares, consumables, etc.) and maintenance-related materials/supplies.
3.Procure general office supplies and stationery as needed.
4.Collect price quotations from local vendors/hardware shops and report to Purchase Officer for approval.
5.Ensure purchased items are accompanied by proper invoices/receipts for accounting.
6.Deliver purchased materials to the respective department/storekeeper and obtain acknowledgment.
7.Maintain a log of daily purchases, expenses, and receipts submitted.
8.Drive company vehicle safely to markets, vendor locations, and suppliers.
9.Maintain vehicle cleanliness, roadworthiness, and ensure documents (registration, insurance) are up to date.
10.Report any discrepancies in pricing, quality, or vendor reliability to the Purchase Manager.

Requirements:

1.Valid Kuwait driving license (light vehicle).
2.Minimum 2–3 years experience in a similar purchase/driving combined role, preferably industrial/workshop environment.
3.Familiarity with local markets, hardware shops, and spare parts suppliers in Kuwait.
4.Basic knowledge of purchase documentation (quotations, invoices, receipts).
5.Good communication skills; Arabic/English preferred.
6.Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to handle petty cash responsibly.
