Responsibilities & Duties
• Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Check factory machinery, tools, and work areas for hazards.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety measures and make recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure all workers wear proper safety gear (PPE) and follow safety laws.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to identify their root causes.
• Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees.
• Maintain records of safety-related activities and incidents and present safety reports to management and regulatory bodies.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid if necessary.
• Promote a culture of safety within the organization

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor degree / Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety / Fire & Safety.
• Relevant Safety certifications approved by the ministry.
• 5-8 years’ experience in a Safety role within manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of safety management systems.
• Experience with ISO standards.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead safety training sessions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
