Description

A leading Oil and Gas company in Kuwait is hiring for the position of IT Technical Support/Technician – IT.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Arab Nationalities preferred.

Job Summary:
Attend to all assigned requests in a timely manner and according to the Company's and IT Division's policies and procedures; in order to help maintain company computer systems and other peripherals, and to keep the users' operations running smoothly.
Internal Interaction:
All Divisions, Departments and Sections

Job Role:

Perform primary tasks of investigating & troubleshooting of company computer systems and peripherals.

Perform Service & Maintenance tasks for network workstations, equipment, and peripherals.

Perform the tasks of Investigating and troubleshooting user- related problems, determine possible solutions, test, and implement solutions.

Perform computer systems' preparation tasks which involve software application & peripherals installation and network resources configuration tasks.

Provide technical support to company personnel in company head office, branches, and work sites.

Provide technical support for company's surveillance system and door access system, installations & troubleshooting.

Assist back- office team in any work related to network, software deployment & troubleshooting, and user access to network resources. Keep records of hardware and software movement and acquisitions.

Perform a variety of record keeping tasks.

Perform any other duty requested by Manager.
