Foodvera is looking for a qualified and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the company’s finance and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and reconcile Statements of Account (SOA).
Record and verify supplier invoices, customer invoices, receipts, and payments.
Follow up on customer outstanding balances and supplier payments.
Prepare bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting.
Monitor cash and cheque transactions.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Previous experience in accounting, preferably in an FMCG or trading company.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Experience with Odoo or other accounting software is preferred.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Honest, organized, responsible, and detail-oriented.
Transferable Kuwait residency is preferred.
